You know that saying, “Go with the flow”? Well, my lovely and talented 180 degrees wedding photography (our wedding photography business) partner, Tanja Butler, and I pretty much operate on this motto. Even when we have a plan for our styled shoots we seem to have this way of being distracted. Like little kids and shiny beads. Dogs and squirrels. Or photographers and bathtubs out in the hall. We were going to do an Industrial Punk themed wedding style shoot. And, to our credit, we did start out in that direction. But…shiny things kept getting in our way. First, this bathtub was just sitting out in the hallway of the studio, and well, one cannot pass up a bathtub sitting in the hall, right? Then, the new neighbors, Emma & Grace Bridal Studio, tripped us up with this amazingly gorgeous gown, and well, the shoot took on a life of its own. In the end, we decided we like it best this way.
